Sponsors are very important to us and our teams - their support is vital and often overlooked except by those that they support.

We have always recognised the part they play, investing a huge amount of time into both perfecting thier logo into embroidery or print and in advising on the best option for the front of a short of the back of a jacket.

We do not compromise - before launching 4sports we bought many kits with compromised two colour vinyl sponsors and so set out to find the answer, which was a full colour heat transfer which faithfully replicates the Sponsor's logo.

We have decided to seek out potential Sponsors hoping to introduce them to School teams. Most youth and adult teams find sponsors from within their own squad contacts, but schools find it harder, hence our decision to try and help them find new kits for their teams.

How much will it cost to sponsor a team?

The price can vary hugely, but a typical kit for a fifteen strong squad costs in the region of £400 - £500 plus VAT, which includes all finishing. Thats roughly the same as a couple of typical local newspaper adverts.

What does a sponsor get out of it?

Your team will often have a website where they may display your logo with a link to your own website.

They will usually get a picture showing your logo in their local press which will demonstrate your support and the team and community, and they will always try to include the sponsor within the subtext

And of course they will wear the shirts week in week out, usually for two years.

We have sponsored teams ourselves and the cost was allowable against tax but we would recommend that you talk to your adviser.
